Mr. Venturini and Mr. Ray began playing music together after graduating high school in 1981. With considerable irony they billed themselves as “Lenny and Doug the Infamous Duo”. Having limited success putting a complete band together, they concentrated their efforts towards writing, arranging, and recording their songs. Their music is difficult to define as the songs touch on various genres and influences. Going from rockabilly to reggae, from pop to punk, the songs complement each other and keep their sound fresh.

A continuing story…

After over a decade apart, Len Venturini and Douglas Ray have begun to collaborate again. This time they are joined by Ronna Yeager, a keyboardist and multi-instrumentalist, and Jeff Conn on drums. Taking the “The Infamous”, as a nod to humble beginnings, the band is drawing on a vast catalog of original rock music as well as cover songs by the Beatles, Bowie, and the like.
